My Brother’s Keeper?
If one is asking the question..one is already under the cloud of denial and justification..
The question itself is a summons to the dock..
A fiery sword standing between the natural man
And his God…
Does God see all and know all?
Are my actions His concern?
Has He not spoken ?
The 10 COMMANDMENTS, not suggestions?
Will there be a reckoning for my actions and intents?
If He is truly the Creator and therefore we belong to Him, with or without our permission…
By Him all things consist–for beauty and harmony and homeostasis….
We have received the one “hands off” act, have been given Free Will….and we choose to twist and distort and fill our soul with darkness and filth…
Sending out the waves of graft, thievery, lying, greed that taints everything and everyone it touches…
“God is not mocked–what you sow you will receive “
Every dishonest, hidden act will be blindingly apparent before God…
So back to the question..”Am I my brother’s keeper?”
It is a pure barometer of my actions…
Thinking you can con and use others’ innocence and naïveté without them knowing. But be assured every act that destroys or hurts others will be judged accordingly…every weight measured..
God’s Mercy bought by Christ on the Cross is the only way to clear the slate and return to life’s purpose …to love and care in every minute detail of my “brothers’” welfare..!
